CO™ Mobile Update Notes (Version 5.0.15)

The latest version of CO™ Mobile (Version 5.0.15) is now available for download via Apple Android app stores. ConstructionOnline Mobile is the powerful mobile app companion to UDA's industry-leading construction management software, ConstructionOnline.

TIME TRACKING

  • Expanded options for creating time entries via CO Mobile, allowing users to manually create time entries from the app. 
  • Added new controls to Time Tracking Location Geofencing:
    • Company Admin Users may require that Location Tracking is enabled on the device before a user can Clock-In via Time Tracking using the mobile app. 
      • If a user's Location Services are disabled and this requirement is active, Clock-In / Clock-Out functions will be disabled. The user will be prompted to turn on Location Services and must do so before being allowed to Clock-In / Clock-Out.
    • CO Mobile will give users the option to "Enable Background Location Services." When enabled, Location Tracking is no longer limited to instances of Clock-In / Clock-Out, rather Location Tracking is tracked throughout the duration of the designated shift. 
      • CO Mobile will attempt to fetch the current location of the device approximately every 15 minutes in the background. 
    • Settings have been added, allowing users to "Set a Schedule," designating a daily Start and End Time for active Location Tracking
      • Location Tracking will only be active within the days and times set in the schedule or when the user is clocked-in to a shift. 
  • The Team Map view has been updated:
    • The latest location available for users who are clocked-in will be displayed in real-time.
    • New & improved location markers on the Team Map view offer better visibility for the display of all available locations. 
      • Blue Markers = Clusters, used to indicate multiple users logged at the same location
    • Additional system support for "Dark Mode" has been added.
  • The Time Sheet Overview has been updated to include a Map view that will include any available tracked location data:
    • Blue Markers = Clusters of two or more location markers. 
    • Orange Markers = Tracked location, which will be combined into a single marker per user if they are within the same 20m radius.
    • Green Markers = Clock-In location
    • Red Markers = Clock-Out location

CALENDAR

  • Confirmed that users can mark Schedule Tasks as "Complete" from the mobile Task Overview screen in all expected instances, regardless of initial access point. 

MISC

  • Updated app framework to improve handling of OS updates and support future package improvements.
