As a part of providing cutting-edge construction management software, UDA releases regular updates, enhancements, and new features to its award-winning construction management platform - ConstructionOnline. Recent additions to the platform include - 

PROJECT TEAM

The “Team” tab within ConstructionOnline Projects has been enhanced with new & improved functions, designed to improve project organization and streamline contact management. The “Team” tab now includes new “Contact Categories,” including the Team Overview, Company Contacts, ClientLink™ Contacts, TeamLink™ Contacts, and Additional Contacts.

  • Team Overview
    Similar to the “Team” tab previously available for ConstructionOnline Projects, the Team Overview still displays Company Contacts, ClientLink Contacts, and TeamLink Contacts. However, new elements added to the Team Overview include:
    • Simplified toggles for Project Status (Pending v. Live) and Visibility controls for ClientLink and TeamLink Portals. 
      • When Project Status is toggled to “Pending,” access to ClientLink and/or TeamLink Portals is automatically updated to “Off.” 
      • Project Status must be toggled to “Live” for access to ClientLink and/or TeamLink Portals to be enabled. 
      • Access to ClientLink and/or TeamLink Portals can now be independently enabled or disabled on a per project basis. 
    • New widget displaying a list of the Project’s “Additional Contacts.”
      • Additional Contacts are defined as Contacts that are not explicitly assigned to the Project Team but are associated to one or more Project items (i.e. Schedule Tasks, To Dos, Punch Lists, etc.). 
      • Automatically populated from Project data
      • May be manually added by Company Users as needed
      • Additional Contacts do not receive Project Invitations when added to the Project and are not afforded any access to the Project in ConstructionOnline or via Portals. 
    • The new “Contact Categories” offer filtered views of Project Contacts, based on Contact Type. Using ConstructionOnline’s powerful dynamic table functions, each view provides enhanced contact management options, including advanced sorting, filtering, searching, ordering, and visibility management. New “Contact Categories” include - 
      • Company Contacts: A filtered list of Company Contacts associated with the Project. 
      • ClientLink Contacts: A filtered list of clients associated with the Project. 
      • TeamLink Contacts: A filtered list of subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers associated with the Project.
      • Additional Contacts: A filtered list of contacts assigned to data points within the Project and/or manually associated to the Project. 

CHANGE ORDERS

  • New Automated Reminder System introduced for construction Change Orders
    • Conveniently modeled after the Reminder System previously implemented for ConstructionOnline’s Permit Tracking, Insurance Tracking, RFIs, and Submittals
    • Automated Reminders key off of the Change Order Due Date and the Change Order Status
      • Change Order Notifications, including Automated Email Reminders, apply exclusively to “Pending Change Orders”
    • Default Email Templates are provided for the following instances - 
      • Change Order Due Date Upcoming
      • Change Order Overdue
      • Change Order Due Today
    • Users can add and/or edit Email Templates to further customize messages included with scheduled email reminders
    • When setting up Automated Email Reminders for Change Orders, users can configure multiple components, including - 
      • Email Template
      • Send Type
      • Frequency
      • Duration
      • Internal and CC: / BCC: Recipients
        • When/if notifications are sent to ClientLink Contacts is governed by the Company’s ClientLink / TeamLink Settings for Change Orders and Change Order Notifications. 

SCHEDULING

  • Streamlined tag recognition as related to Schedule Tasks in ConstructionOnline, ensuring that tags assigned to Schedule Tasks consistently save, specifically in instances where the tag(s) are newly created during task creation/modification.
  • Confirmed that the designated Start Date is correctly and consistently applied whenever a new Schedule is created from a Schedule Template

PUNCH LISTS

  • Added “Assigned Resources” to the information displayed in the Item Issue Details modal. 

REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION (RFIs)

  • Updated Latest Activity Timeline so that entries referencing the creation of new RFIs now display the “Creation Date” of the RFI. 

DAILY LOGGING

  • Verified that notifications for Daily Logs are generated and delivered as expected in all relevant instances. 

FILES & PHOTOS

  • Optimized download options to ensure compatibility with all file types, specifically HEIC, JPG, and DNG files. 

COMPANY COSTBOOKS

  • Updated system logic to include support for special characters in Costbook Names, specifically in instances related to Costbook Import and Costbook Export. 

COMPANY COST CODES

  • Verified success of Cost Code Imports, regardless of the level of detail included. All multi-level Cost Code Imports perform as expected. 

CLIENTLINK / TEAMLINK PORTALS

  • Optimized system administration to ensure that ClientLink and/or TeamLink Portals are consistently accessible when included as an Add-On to any ConstructionOnline subscription. 

MOBILE APP

  • Following the capture and/or selection of Photos via the “Camera” tool in CO™ Mobile, users have previously been able to create a To Do or Daily Log. New options to create additional items are now available, including: 
    • Announcement
    • Calendar Event
    • Call Log
    • RFI
    • Envoy Chat
    • Message
    • Change Order
