Enhanced Financial Reports Improve Construction Project Documentation

Written by UDA Corporate Newsroom | August 14, 2026

ConstructionOnline™ has introduced a series of reporting enhancements across Estimating and Client Selections, giving construction teams more detailed exports, expanded report options, and cleaner, more professional presentation across several key project documents.

These updates improve the way estimate, contract, and selections data is formatted, reviewed, and shared—helping teams produce clearer reports for internal analysis, client communication, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation.

Improved Styling for Financial Reporting

The Committed vs. Actuals Report has been updated with refreshed styling to align more closely with ConstructionOnline’s Estimate vs. Invoiced and Estimate vs. Actuals Reports.

By creating a more consistent visual experience across related financial reports, ConstructionOnline helps teams review project cost information more easily while producing reports that feel polished, professional, and presentation-ready.

Expanded Current Contract Summary Options

The Current Contract Summary Report has also been enhanced with new configuration options that give users greater control over the level of estimate detail included in the report.

A new Show Classification option allows teams to include estimate classification data, providing additional context around how contract values are organized across materials, labor, subcontractors, equipment, and other cost categories. The report modal has also been reorganized for improved usability, with related display options arranged more clearly.

Additional controls have been added for Company Overhead & Margin, including a new option to show detailed Overhead & Margin lines when applicable. This gives teams more flexibility in how markup-related information is displayed, helping support clearer contract review and financial documentation.

More Complete Estimate Excel Exports

ConstructionOnline has also expanded Estimate Excel Exports with additional columns, helping exported estimate data more closely reflect the level of detail teams rely on inside the platform.

New export fields include quantity and adjustment details, tax information, project organization fields, classification data, and traffic indicators. Classification and Traffic values display as text within the export, making the information easier to review, filter, and use in spreadsheet-based workflows.

These updates help construction teams preserve more estimate context when working outside ConstructionOnline, whether preparing internal analysis, sharing project information, or maintaining detailed financial records.

Refined Client Selections Reports

Several Client Selections reports have also been updated with improved styling and layout, including the Selection Subcontractor Agreement Report, Selections Overview Report, and Selections Approved Choices Report.

These refinements support cleaner presentation of selections information, helping teams create more professional documents for clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Supporting Clearer Project Documentation

Together, these enhancements strengthen ConstructionOnline’s reporting tools by improving consistency, expanding available detail, and giving teams more control over how important project information is presented.

From estimating and contract summaries to selections documentation and Excel exports, ConstructionOnline continues to refine the reporting experience so construction professionals can communicate information more clearly, review project data more effectively, and maintain stronger documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
