Recent updates to UDA’s award-winning construction project management software, ConstructionOnline™, offer improved management of Client Selections for construction companies. Most notably, ConstructionOnline™ Company Users will find that they are now able to individually designate which Client Selections - and subsequent Selection Choices - are visible for construction clients through ConstructionOnline’s convenient online Project Portals.

Known as a hub for construction communication & collaboration, ConstructionOnline™ provides custom Project Portals that allow construction companies to invite clients to access their construction projects through a convenient, custom online login. As part of this personalized experience, ClientLink™ Users can -

• Communicate with the construction team
• Access recently shared project files & photos
• Review change order documents and approve/reject changes
• Review selection choices and electronically choose their preference
• Track the project calendar, along with associated tasks, activities, and events

New controls recently added to ConstructionOnline’s Client Selections allow for Company Users to determine whether or not an individual Client Selection is available for ClientLink™ Contacts through the ClientLink™ Portal. When creating Client Selections, users will find that they are now able to choose between two visibility settings in the Selections Detail Modal:

1. “This Selection and its Choices will be visible to clients in the ClientLink™ Portal if they have access to view Selections.”

2. “This Selection and its Choices will not be visible to clients in the ClientLink™ Portal, regardless of their permission settings.”

The addition of these options furthers the level of customized access construction companies are able to offer clients and improves the construction client experience by ensuring each client has access to the most relevant information for their specific build. Additional settings related to ClientLink™ access to Client Selections can be found with the company portal’s ClientLink™ Settings.
