Since its introduction in January 2026, ConstructionOnline™ Bid Tracking has continued to evolve with a series of enhancements designed to improve visibility, streamline communication, and give construction teams greater control over the bidding process. 

These latest updates build on the foundation of Bid Tracking, expanding both internal workflows and collaboration with external partners—while introducing new tools that support more informed decision-making from bid invitation through award. 

Improved Oversight with Automated Reminders & Notifications

ConstructionOnline has expanded the platform's intuitive reminder capabilities to Bid Tracking to help teams effortlessly stay ahead of key deadlines. Default reminder templates—including Deadline Upcoming, Deadline Today, and Deadline Passed—make it easier to maintain consistent communication with bidders and reduce the risk of missed responses. 

Additional notification options provide greater control over how bid-related updates are shared. Teams can now notify bidders when deadlines change or when bid awards are rescinded, ensuring that all participants remain informed as conditions evolve. 

Bid Tracking Now Available in TeamLink™ Portals

Bid Tracking has been extended to ConstructionOnline's TeamLink Portals, allowing existing TeamLink Users who have been invited as Bidders to view bid packages and submit bids directly within ConstructionOnline. This enhancement centralizes the bidding experience, replacing fragmented communication with a more structured and collaborative workflow. 

With this update, ConstructionOnline continues to unify project & bidding workflows—delivering a structured, trackable, and collaborative system that supports both internal teams and external partnerships with subcontractors & vendors.

Detailed Bid Comparison & Reporting Enhancements

New tools have been introduced to support deeper analysis and clearer documentation of bid data. Line-by-line comparisons for Bid Packages allow teams to evaluate bid  submissions with greater precision, while the addition of a Bid Sheet Print Report provides a straightforward way to document and share bid details.

These enhancements make it easier to review, compare, and communicate bid information—supporting more confident award decisions. 

Additional Bid Tracking Enhancements

A number of additional updates further refine the Bid Tracking experience, including: 

• Text notifications for Bid Tracking activity

• Automatic inclusion of bidding contacts as Additional Contacts on the Project Team Contacts List

• The addition of a new tab for Purchase Orders within the Bid Recipient Blade

• Improved visibility and access to Comments within Bid Sheets

• The ability to download Redline Sheets attached to Bid Packages

• Expanded support for Line Item Attachments & Descriptions within Bid Sheets

Together, these updates enhance usability, improve communication, and provide greater flexibility across the bidding process.
