- Punch List Item Issues
Modeled after the intuitive comment functionality already in place for Client Selections, Change Orders, and Daily Logs, this enhancement makes it easy for teams to maintain clear, contextual discussions within ConstructionOnline’s quality management tools.
✴️ Key Features Include:
- Segmented Comment Threads that separate company, client, and team communications
- Permission-Based Visibility Controls that ensure users only see relevant comment threads
- Unread Comment Indicators, including blue and green comment icons, to draw attention to new activity
- Comment Counters that display the number of comments visible to each user on each log
Role-Based Visibility & Collaboration
As with other comment-enabled features in ConstructionOnline:
- Company Users can view all three comment segments: Company, ClientLink (CL), and TeamLink (TL)
- ClientLink Users view only the Company and ClientLink threads
- TeamLink Users view the Company and TeamLink threads, and thread content varies depending on their individual permissions
Whether resolving a punch list item, clarifying a checklist task, or addressing a noted issue, Comments keep all communication connected to the relevant record—reducing confusion and improving accountability.
