ConstructionOnline has introduced User Mentions within Comment threads, giving construction teams a faster, more direct way to communicate and collaborate across projects. 

By typing "@" followed by a user's name, users can tag specific team members directly within a conversation—ensuring important questions, updates, and action items reach the right people at the right time.

Whether coordinating with internal teams or looping in external partners, users can keep communication focused and actionable without relying on separate messages or follow-ups. 

Improved Visibility with My Mentions

To help users stay on top of relevant activity, ConstructionOnline now includes tabs for All Comments and My Mentions in ConstructionOnline's Latest News & Updates Menu🔔in the top right corner of the platform.

With instant notifications for new Comments and User Mentions, users are able to quickly track conversations and prioritize items that require their attention. Users may also receive email and/or text notifications regarding Comments and/or Mentions.  

The My Mentions view provides a centralized place to quickly find and respond to conversations where a user has been tagged—helping reduce missed communication and streamline daily workflows. A "Clear All" option is also available for efficient message management. 

Built for Team and Client Collaboration

When adding a mention, the Contact List defaults to Company Users to support internal team coordination. If a ClientLink™ or TeamLink™ Contact is already associated with the Comment, that contact will also be available for mention—allowing seamless collaboration across both internal teams and external project participants.
