Committed to continuous improvement and delivering exceptional value, UDA Technologies continues to expand ConstructionOnline™ with powerful new features and targeted enhancements. This week's updates introduce Bid Tracking in the TeamLink™ Portal and Bill creation for TeamLink Users, along with additional updates for Payment Applications, Estimating, Files, and more. 

BID TRACKING

• New! Bid Tracking is now available in the TeamLink Portal, allowing subcontractors and vendors to place and manage bids directly within ConstructionOnline.
  • Access to Bid Tracking is controlled by TeamLink User Permissions. 
• Bid Tracking now offers text notifications, giving Company Users the option to receive key updates via SMS. 
• Contacts added as Primary Bidding Contacts or Bidders on Bid Packages now automatically populate to the related project's list of Additional Contacts, ensuring key bidding contacts are readily accessible throughout the project. 
• Change Order Line Items linked to Bid Sheets can now be edited and deleted as expected. 
• Duplicating a Bid Package consistently replicates the associated file structure, preserving organization across the duplicated package. 

PURCHASING

• ConstructionOnline expands TeamLink capabilities with Bill creation directly from assigned Purchase Orders, keeping the entire PO-to-bill workflow within the platform. 
  
  • Access to Bill creation is controlled by TeamLink User Permissions, with additional settings available to determine whether TeamLink Users can add line items or bill beyond the Purchase Order Total. 

CHANGE ORDERS

• Change Order duplication consistently applies duplication preferences, specifically in instances where existing Markup & Price Data is being excluded.

DAILY LOGGING

• Cost Code Filters now return accurate results across larger data sets, giving teams dependable insight into cost code activity at any scale. 

ONCOST™ ESTIMATING 

• Custom names applied to the Company Overhead & Margin section within Estimate Templates are reflected in new Estimates created from those templates. 
• The Estimate vs. Invoiced Report delivers accurate Project Total and Invoiced values when approved Selections are included.

FILES

• The Upload from ConstructionOnline option provides consistent access to files sourced from within the platform. 
• File and folder options now consistently align with defined user permissions, and applied changes save reliably whether using right-click and drag-and-drop actions. 

MESSAGING

• When creating a new Conversation thread from a Message Template, users may upload Attachments without impacting or changing the applied template.

NOTIFICATIONS

• ClientLink™ invitation emails are now sent to the email address specified in the recipient's Private Details, ensuring invitations are delivered to the desired inbox.  

PAYMENT APPLICATIONS

• When creating and/or editing a Payment Application, the Select All checkbox functions reliably in all instances, including and especially in projects with prior Pay Apps.
• Continuation Sheets now correctly populate the Less Previous Certificates for Payment value in printed Payment Applications. 
• Credit Memos (Change Orders with negative values) are properly accounted for across Payment Applications. 
  
  • The Payment Application Total captures the sum of selected invoices' Total Less Retainage and any applicable negative Change Orders, updating in real time as invoices are selected or deselected. 
  • Continuation Sheets now include dedicated lines for Credit Memos, with Work Completed This Period and related fields populating based on scheduled values. 

RFIs

• Draft messages are no longer included in RFI resolution email notifications, ensuring only finalized communication is sent. 

TO DOs

• Inline edits to a To Do's Related Project field now save as intended from the To Dos view in the Company Overview. 
• The To Do Export generates as expected, giving teams reliable access to exportable To Do data for project reporting and coordination. 

SALES MANAGEMENT

• Sales Dashboards now include Leads and Opportunities predating the parent company's creation, ensuring a complete and accurate view of historical sales activity.  

SUBMITTALS

• Contact avatars now display fully, ensuring consistent user identification across the platform. 

TIME TRACKING

• The Today Filter now returns accurate results for the current day, giving teams a reliable view of daily time tracking activity. 

TAGS

• Tags can now be applied to RFIs, Submittals, and Transmittals, expanding ConstructionOnline's custom labeling capabilities across project documentation.
