To deliver the latest cutting-edge capabilities and continue driving innovation across the construction industry, UDA Technologies regularly introduces meaningful updates to ConstructionOnline™. This week's release introduces the Companies Export to Excel, TeamLink™ Portal uploads for Redline™ Planroom, and Takeoff Measurement Templates, along with updates across OnCost™ Estimating, Company Reporting, Daily Logging, and more.

CONTACTS & COMPANIES

• Companies can now be exported directly to Excel from the Companies table, giving construction teams greater flexibility in how they manage, analyze, and share company directory information. 
  • The exported list reflects the current sort and filter settings applied to the Companies table, ensuring export results mirror what is displayed within ConstructionOnline. 

REDLINE™ PLANROOM

• TeamLink Users can now upload Redline Sheets directly from the Portal, expanding subcontractor collaboration and giving project teams greater control over plan management. 
  
  • New Redline Planroom permissions within TeamLink Settings include the following options: 
    • Upload Documents  — Allows users to upload documents to Redline Planroom, with additional options to create new Version Sets and publish documents. 
      
      • Version Sets — Allows users to create new Version Sets and manage to Versions they have created. 
      • Publish Documents — Allows users to publish uploaded documents and access those documents within the Publish Log. 
• ClientLink™ and TeamLink Users can now compare Redline Sheet revisions directly from the Portal, giving project teams greater visibility into plan changes across the lifecycle of a project. 

REDLINE™ TAKEOFF

• Takeoff Measurement Templates are now available for Redline Takeoff in ConstructionOnline, giving teams a faster, more consistent approach to Takeoff setup and sheet markup. 
  • Takeoff Measurement Templates can be created from the Templates section of the Company Overview or from the Takeoff feature within individual projects. 
  • When starting a new Takeoff, users now have the option to select Create Takeoff from Template, reducing setup time for frequently used measurement types and workflows. 

CHANGE ORDERS

• Negative Line Item Markups display consistently and accurately in Change Order Contracts, supporting reliable financial calculations.

COSTBOOKS

• Costbook exports to Excel via the Export for Import option now include all available columns, ensuring every export captures Costbook data with completion. 

DAILY LOGGING

• Daily Logging Photostream images now download in the appropriate file format, delivering photo files that are immediately accessible and ready to use upon download. 

ONCOST™ ESTIMATING

• Change Orders can now be edited directly from the Change Order sheet within Estimating, supporting a seamless financial management workflow evolving projects. 
• The Estimate Excel Export for Reference has been updated with improved data display across exported results. 
  • The Classification column is now included in exports when visible in the user's current estimate view settings, with classifications populated at the appropriate level based on the estimate type. 
    • 3-Level Estimates — Item level 
    • 2-Level Estimates — Subcategory level 
    • 5-Level Estimates — No Classification column 
  • Category descriptions now display on the Category row within the Project Totals sheet, while also remaining available on the Category Total row within individual Category sheets. 
    

COMPANY REPORTING

• Header & Footer Sets now include a field for License Number, allowing companies to incorporate licensing information directly into report headers for a more complete and professional presentation. 
• Change Order Descriptions in Change Order Proposals and Contract Reports now display with consistent spacing, delivering a more polished report output. 

LEAD TRACKING

• Leads created through the Lead Capture form now record the associated Lead Creation date, ensuring reliable sales tracking from the moment a new Lead enters the pipeline. 

MISC

• Project Maps now load and display correctly in all expected instances. 

CO™ MOBILE

• QuickBooks Actuals now display within the Estimate Summary view, giving mobile users access to up-to-date project financial data. 
• Tags are now accessible within Transmittals, supporting more organized and efficient document management on the go.
