ConstructionOnline™ continues to evolve through UDA Technologies’ ongoing commitment to enhancing workflows, expanding functionality, and delivering innovative new tools for construction professionals. This week’s release introduces Comments for OnPlan™ Scheduling, along with targeted updates across Bid Tracking, Change Orders, Estimating, Messaging, and more.

ONPLAN™ SCHEDULING

• New! Comments are now available for OnPlan Scheduling, extending ConstructionOnline's centralized communication model directly into the Scheduling workflow. Schedule-related discussions remain clear, centralized, and directly connected to the corresponding Schedule Tasks. 

  • Key features include: 
    • Segmented Comment Threads
    • Permission-Based Visibility Controls 
    • Unread Comment Indicators 
    • Comment Counters 
  • Company Admin Users and other authorized Company Users can manage Comments directly within Scheduling at the individual Task level. 
  • When Scheduling is enabled within ClientLink/TeamLink Settings, Comments may be shared with any of the Project's ClientLink and/or TeamLink Users, supporting transparent communication across the full project team throughout the project lifecycle. 

BID TRACKING 

• Planroom Sheet Download emails now deliver to the email address specific within the user's Private Details, ensuring Bid Package files reach the appropriate inbox for project-related communications.

• Bid Package Announcements are now available for Opportunities, allowing teams to communicate updates and important information directly within the relevant Bid Package. 

CHANGE ORDERS

• Change Order Summary by Status Report now supports multi-status selection, giving users greater control over reporting scope. 
  

  • The status selector has been updated from a dropdown to a checkbox list for faster, more flexible filtering. 

ONCOST™ ESTIMATING

• Estimate Proposals can now be generated directly from Estimate Templates, streamlining the proposal workflow for teams working from standardized estimate structures. 

MESSAGING

• The Messaging modal now closes reliably after sending a report as a Message, supporting a smoother communication experience. 

FILES & PHOTOS

• Single image files can now be copied from the Photostream to other destinations within ConstructionOnline, providing greater flexibility when organizing and sharing project photos. 

PURCHASING

• Bills in the dynamic table load consistently within Purchasing, specifically in instances where the Bill was originally created by a user who has since been removed from the system. 

COMPANY REPORTING

• Project Tracking Reports now support filtering by Trade, enabling more targeted visibility into project activity. Updated reports include: 

  • Daily Logging Reports 
  • Punch List Item Issue Report
  • Checklist Item Issue Report
• The Work Order Report now includes an option to use Adjusted Quantity, accounting for quantity multipliers and waste percentages that were previously excluded from Work Order calculations.
