Continuous improvement remains at the core of ConstructionOnline™, with the ConstructionOnline Team continuously enhancing performance, expanding functionality, and delivering innovative new tools to the award-winning construction management platform. This week's release introduces a fully redesigned Change Orders experience alongside targeted enhancements across Estimating, Scheduling, Takeoff, and more.

CHANGE ORDERS

• New! A major update to Change Orders is now live in ConstructionOnline, delivering a fully redesigned experience featuring four new view modes, similar to those found in To Dos, giving construction teams greater flexibility and control over the change order workflow. 
  
  • List View — The default interface for Change Orders, offering a spreadsheet-style format with inline editing, sortable columns, and customizable column visibility.
  • Group-by View — Organizes Change Orders by a user-selected value, such as Approval Status, Trade, or Change Reason, making it easy to assess scope and financial impact across categories. 
  • Board View — A Kanban-inspired interface that displays Change Orders as draggable cards organized by column, allowing teams to update values in real time by moving cards between stages. 
  • Card View — Presents Change Orders as easy-to-scan cards each displaying key details. Built-in status indicators provide quick visibility into approval, payment, and delivery progress, and teams can approve or reject on behalf of clients directly from the view. 
• When Change Order permissions are enabled within ClientLink™ and/or TeamLink™ Settings, List View, Group-by View, and Card View are accessible within the ConstructionOnline Portal.

ONCOST™ ESTIMATING

• Estimate Templates are consistently accessible for permissioned users, ensuring construction teams can reliably access all saved templates in all appropriate instances.

OPPORTUNITIES 

• The Opened Date field is now permanently retained on all Opportunities, supporting consistent timeline tracking across all potential projects. 

 ONPLAN™ SCHEDULING

• XML imports have been optimized, ensuring reliable and complete Schedule import functionality for all users. 
• Schedule Tasks now update as expected when edited directly from TrueVision™ Multi-Project Scheduling for a more seamless project management experience. 

REDLINE™ TAKEOFF

• Wall Volume Measurements consistently reflect the associated number of wall sides when created and/or edited, ensuring accurate quantity data across all takeoff calculations. 

CHECKLISTS 

• Checklist Issue Attachments now populate on the Checklist Photostream for all Company Users, supporting a more complete and accessible view of issue documentation. 

PAYMENT APPLICATIONS

• Payment Applications now include the option to exclude items without values when printing or exporting, delivering cleaner and more focused documentation. 

FILES & PHOTOS

• The active Project or Opportunity now appears at the top of file navigation when selecting the "Upload Files from ConstructionOnline" option within the File Upload window, making related files faster to locate and organize.
