UDA Technologies continues to invest in the speed and stability of ConstructionOnline™ with regular updates, enhancements, and new features added to the award-winning construction management platform. This week's release introduces Comments for OnCost™ Estimating, along with targeted updates across Checklists, Messaging, Redline™, Time Tracking, Lead Tracking, and more.

ONCOST™ ESTIMATING

• New! Comments are now available for OnCost Estimating, bringing estimate communication into the same streamlined, contextual workflow used across ConstructionOnline's project management tools. As a result, estimate-related discussions remain clear, centralized, and directly connected to the corresponding Categories, Subcategories, and Line Items. 

  • Key features include: 

    • Segmented Comment Threads
    • Permission-Based Visibility Controls
    • Unread Comment Indicators
    • Comment Counters
  • Company Admin Users and other authorized Company Users can manage Comments directly within Estimating, at the Category, Subcategory, and Line Item levels.
    
  • When Estimating is enabled within ClientLink™ Settings, Comments may be shared with any of the Project's ClientLink Users, supporting transparent client communication throughout the project lifecycle. 
• Estimate Proposals with custom titles now display with correct title indentation for consistent, professional presentation.

"MY AGENDA" VIEW

• Tag Filters for Schedule Tasks now return accurate results, helping teams quickly locate and organize tasks by Tag. 
  

CHECKLISTS

• Duplicating a Checklist or Checklist folder into a folder within a different project now transfers all contents with completion and accuracy. 

MESSAGING

• Attachments added to new Message Conversations created from the Company Overview are successfully attached and consistently delivered. 

OPPORTUNITIES

• Opportunities created from templates now save correctly as Opportunities, ensuring accurate record classification across the platform. 
  

CLIENTLINK™/ TEAMLINK™ PORTALS

• Comment counts in the ClientLink / TeamLink Portal now reflect only the number of Comments visible to the current user, ensuring accurate and appropriate visibility across all Portal views. 

COMPANY PROJECTS 

• The Project Creation workflow now supports Setting a Project Address and successfully redirects the user to the newly created project upon completion. 

REDLINE™

• Rotating a sheet maintains the visibility of all markup and annotations, regardless of sheet orientation. 

TIME TRACKING 

•  Time Tracking Reports targeting currently clocked-in team members now generate correctly, displaying "Clocked In" or "Pending Clock Out" in the "Duration" column for clear, real-time visibility into active time entries.

    • Project Time Summary Report 
    • Employee Time Summary Report 
    • Company Time Totals

LEAD TRACKING 

• Deleting multiple Leads now requires users to enter a confirmation phrase before completion, adding an additional layer of protection against accidental data loss.
