Committed to continuous improvement and delivering exceptional value, the ConstructionOnline Team routinely rolls out updates, enhancements, and powerful new features. Crafted to elevate performance and drive significant results, this week's updates to ConstructionOnline include - 

COSTBOOKS

A new option to reorder folders and items is now available for Company Costbooks and has also been applied to Assemblies, providing improved organization and faster access to key project data. 

• Drag-and-Drop Reordering: Click and drag the reorder handle on the far right of each row to easily reorder items and folders.
• Sorting Options: Use the 3-dot Action Menu in the top-right corner to sort Alphabetically or by Creation Date, in ascending or descending order.
• Improved Search: The enhanced search bar now includes a  Go To Item capability, allowing users to jump directly to a specific item from the dropdown menu.
  
  ⚠️Reordering Notes:
  • Costbooks themselves cannot be reordered. 
  • Items and folders may only be reordered within their specific level, and may not be dragged to other levels or folders. 
    

COST CODES

• Revised wording in the Project Creation window to clearly & correctly indicate that Cost Codes can be modified after project creation. 

INVOICING

Enhanced Estimate and Invoice accuracy for clearer, more reliable financial tracking in the Estimate table: 

• Older 2-level Invoices now appear correctly in the related Invoices list, the widget details view, and on Invoice and Payment prints. 
• Starting balances for advanced Estimate items now display accurately in the Invoice Details view. 
• Streamlined navigation for users when accessing Invoices from the Company Overview page. 

MEETING MINUTES

• Meeting invitation emails include the correct name and email address of the meeting creator. 

COMPANY REPORTING 

• Client addresses render correctly on Detailed Estimate Proposals, ensuring the right address is used for Contacts listed across multiple Companies. 

REDLINE™

• Linear, Perimeter, and Wall Area measurements calculate accurately when using the 90° Polygon and Freeform Polygon tools.  
• Enhanced Undo/Redo feature to support precise control, letting users undo and/or redo individual counts and line segments as they are created. 

TO DOS

• The Export to Excel command within the More Options Menu correctly and completely exports the To Do List.
• Enhanced To Do Filtering ensures all Subtasks are visible when a To Do matches a filter, and parent To Dos are always displayed when a Subtask matches.   
  

SUBMITTALS

• CC'd Contacts can be successfully removed when editing a Submittal, streamlining document control and distribution workflows.

MISC

• Optimized Redline Toolbars to decrease load times and improve overall performance. 
• Improved load speed for the Estimating table, ensuring faster access to project financial data. 
• Enhanced system logic powering the Weather Tracking snapshot to reduce server load and boost system responsiveness.
