ConstructionOnline has introduced new enhancements to Change Order Reports and Proposals, giving construction teams more control over how change information is reviewed, filtered, and presented.
Change Orders are a critical part of project financial management, helping teams document scope changes, communicate cost impacts, and maintain accurate records throughout the project lifecycle. With the latest updates, ConstructionOnline makes it easier to generate more targeted reports and clearer proposal documents that support better communication between project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
More Targeted Change Order Reporting
ConstructionOnline has added Contact filtering to several Change Order Reports, allowing users to focus report results based on the contacts associated with Change Order activity.
Contact filtering is now available for:
- Change Order Summary by Status
- Change Order Summary by Type
- Change Order Summary by Reason
This added filtering option helps teams review Change Orders more precisely, whether analyzing activity connected to a specific client, subcontractor, vendor, or other project contact. By narrowing report results to the most relevant information, construction professionals can more easily evaluate change activity, identify trends, and prepare focused documentation for internal review or stakeholder communication.
Clearer Proposal Presentation
ConstructionOnline has also added a new option for Change Order Proposals created from Multi-Line Change Orders, allowing users to display lump sum values when needed.
This enhancement gives teams more flexibility in how proposal information is presented, helping ensure Change Order documentation aligns with project requirements, client expectations, and preferred billing or approval workflows.
For companies managing detailed Change Orders with multiple line items, the ability to present lump sum values can help simplify proposal review while still preserving the detail needed for accurate project records.
Supporting Better Change Management
Together, these updates strengthen ConstructionOnline’s Change Order reporting and proposal tools by improving both visibility and presentation control.
With more targeted report filtering and expanded proposal display options, construction teams can communicate change information more clearly, support faster review and approval, and maintain stronger documentation around project scope and financial adjustments.
As ConstructionOnline continues to enhance its project financial management tools, updates like these help construction professionals manage change with greater confidence, clarity, and control.
