ConstructionOnline™ is excited to announce the release of extensive updates for Schedule Delays on Gantt Charts within OnPlan™ Scheduling.  This round of updates significantly enhances the display and documentation of Schedule Delays on construction Gantt Chart schedules, serving to improve tracking of project timelines and increase visibility regarding critical schedule slippage.

Introduced for OnPlan Scheduling in 2023, the Insert Delay function is designed to allow for the effective documentation of Schedule Delays, the efficient identification of project impacts, and the application of automatic updates to impacted Milestones, Tasks, and Groups. Following the most recent update to ConstructionOnline, users will notice key enhancements, including:

• Upgraded display of Schedule Delays on Gantt Chart
  • Highlight the duration of the Delay with clear demarcations for the Start Date of the Delay and the End Date of the Delay
  • Color-code Schedule Delays with custom color options to improve visual depiction of Delays on project Gantt Chart
  • Hover-over any Schedule Delay on the Gantt Chart to quickly expand additional Delay Details
• Expanded Delay Details allow users to add further context to the cause and effect of Schedule Delays
  • Document the “Delay Reason” with custom dropdown options to better classify contributing factors 
  • Record “Delay Notes” when additional information is relevant to the reasoning and resolution related to the Schedule Delay
