ConstructionOnline™ has introduced Comments for OnPlan Scheduling, bringing task-based communication directly into the scheduling process and giving construction teams a more connected way to coordinate project timelines.
With this update, ConstructionOnline brings schedule related-discussions directly into the project scheduling workflow, helping teams maintain clearer visibility into task coordination, updates, and scheduling decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
Connected Communication Within Scheduling
Comments for OnPlan Scheduling allow Company Admin Users and other authorized Company Users to create and manage Comments directly within individual Schedule Tasks. Designed to support more organized and transparent collaboration across project team, key capabilities include:
- Segmented Comment Threads
- Permissions-Based Visibility Controls
- Unread Comment Indicators
- Real-Time Comment Counters
These tools help ensure that conversations remain centralized, contextual, and easy to reference—eliminating the need to manage schedule-related communication through disconnected emails, text message, or external collaboration platforms.
Improved Collaboration for Project Teams
When Scheduling access is enabled for ClientLink™ and TeamLink™ Users, Scheduling Comments may also be shared with clients and subcontractors connected to the project. This supports transparent communication between all members of the project team and provides better visibility into scheduling discussions and timeline changes.
By extending Comments into OnPlan Scheduling, ConstructionOnline continues to strengthen collaboration across day-to-day construction management workflows, helping teams stay coordinated, informed, and connected from planning through project completion.
